Where Can I Drop Off Donations in Chilliwack on a Sunday?

Raba Thrift Store is open for donation drop-off 10 AM to 7 PM every day of the week, Sunday included. Several Chilliwack donation centres are closed Sundays, and some of the ones open during the week stop taking items by late afternoon — so if you are donating on a Sunday or after work, check hours before you load the car. Ours do not change: the same 10 AM to 7 PM, all seven days.

There is no cut-off time for donations separate from our store hours. If the doors are open, we are taking donations.

Every donor gets a 30% off coupon for their next purchase — no minimum number of items, no paperwork. Just ask a staff member when you drop off.

How Drop-Off Works

Dropping off at Raba Thrift Store takes three steps and about five minutes. Bring your items during store hours, park wherever there is room, and let our staff carry them in for you.

Step 1: Bring Your Items

Come by any day between 10 AM and 7 PM — no appointment needed. Bags, boxes, or loose items are all fine.

Step 2: Park Out Front or Around Back

Park out front, or pull around to the back lot if the front is full. Either entrance works — come in whichever way is easier for you.

Step 3: We Help You Unload

Our staff will help you unload. Ask for your 30% off coupon while you are here.

What the Back Entrance Looks Like

Most people park out front. If the front is full, or you have a heavy load you would rather not carry far, you can come down the lane behind the store instead. It is easy to drive past the first time, so here is exactly what to look for.

Where to stop. Pull into the open space beside the blue bin. The donation door is straight ahead under the covered bay. Stay in your car if it is easier — come and find a staff member, or call us from where you are parked and someone will come out to help you unload.

What Can I Drop Off at Raba Thrift Store?

Raba Thrift Store accepts clean, resellable clothing, shoes, books, housewares, working electronics, and vintage finds. Furniture is case by case — send a photo first. We cannot take mattresses, sofas, or beds at all.

No. Raba Thrift Store accepts donation drop-offs any time during store hours — no appointment, no booking, no phone call first. Bring your bags or boxes to 46191 Yale Rd, Chilliwack, BC V2P 4X5, Canada and our staff will take it from there.

Furniture is case by case. Raba Thrift Store takes selected furniture depending on size, condition, and what is already on the floor, so send a photo on WhatsApp and we will confirm before you load it up. We cannot take mattresses, box springs, sofas, couches, or beds at all.
Can you pick up my donation instead of me dropping it off?▼
Yes. Raba Thrift Store offers free donation pickup 7 days a week across Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Sardis, Yarrow, Cultus Lake, Sumas, and Matsqui. There is no fee and no minimum quantity — request a pickup and we confirm most bookings within 24 hours.
Do you give tax receipts for donations?▼
No. Raba Thrift Store is a for-profit thrift store, not a registered charity, so we cannot issue a charitable tax receipt — we would rather tell you that up front. What you do get: a 30% off coupon, drop-off until 7 PM every day of the week, free pickup if you would rather not drive, and a place that takes plenty of everyday items charities often turn away.
Can I leave donations outside after hours?▼
Please do not. Items left outside overnight get rained on, picked through, or scattered, and then they are no good to anyone. Raba Thrift Store is open 10 AM to 7 PM every day — bring your donation during those hours, or request a free pickup and we will come to you.
