How often does the stock change?
Daily. Every item at Raba Thrift Store arrived as a donation — either dropped off at the counter during our 10 AM to 7 PM hours, or collected on our free pickup route through Chilliwack, Sardis, Yarrow, Cultus Lake, Sumas, Matsqui, and Abbotsford. There is no warehouse and no reorder. That is why regulars visit often and briefly rather than rarely and thoroughly: the good pieces get found on the day they land.
What is it like to shop here?
Come with time and an open mind rather than a specific list. If you are furniture hunting, bring a tape measure and know your doorway and vehicle dimensions. If you are matching a dish or a textbook edition, bring a photo on your phone. Everything is sold as-is, so give each piece a two-minute look before you take it to the counter — the checks that matter are on each category page.

The shelves you shop are stocked by people clearing out their homes. Raba Thrift Store takes clothing, electronics, books, media, housewares, and vintage items, and looks at furniture case-by-case. Every donor gets a 30% off coupon. We are a for-profit store, so we cannot issue charitable tax receipts.
